This series is a love letter to my time as a preschool teacher in the beautiful coastal town of San Clemente, CA. The collection of small to medium-sized oil and watercolor paintings captures the enchanting experiences of my students. In this series, I visually document the vibrant moments that unfolded in our Reggio-Emilia inspired environment—a sanctuary brimming with plants, animals, and an organic garden. This is an ode to preschool, to that precious time when everything is new and exhilarating. It is a celebration of the countless "first times"—the first steps into the unknown, the first discoveries of colors, shapes, and textures, and the first friendships formed. As I observed these little ones immersed in their technicolor world, I too became enraptured by the magic they saw and joyfully melted into their adventures. Each stroke of my brush brings to life the joy, wonder, and curiosity that permeated our days together.
