At the end of the 2022 school year, students from Community Roots Academy (CRA) in Laguna Niguel, California held a school-wide competition. The contest aimed to have students choose a word that best represents the unique nature of their classrooms. They were then tasked with creating a corresponding drawing based on their chosen word. These initial sketches were carefully reviewed and further developed to create the final images used for the captivating ball wall murals.
